International Women’s Day
It’s International Women’s Day on the Saturday, 8 March, celebrating female achievement and highlighting the continuing fight for gender equality. Manchester has a significant history in the fight for women’s rights as the Suffrage movement was founded here and the city contributed a key role in forming the Representation of the People Act 1918.
Celebrate IWD with a diverse programme of events to empower, celebrate and advocate women in Manchester.
