McDSP

Spirit has partnered with McDSP since 2006, providing their plug-ins on our workstations, and are able to offer discounts to students.

For this month (October) only, McDSP are offering an exclusive coupon code for students to receive $100 off their Annual Paid Yearly subscription. That would mean you get an annual subscription, for all of McDSP’s plugins, for $49 (or ~£40).

Ableton

There are two offers on Ableton this month – a discount on purchasing it, and a free trial extension until the end of August next year.

Ableton Live Suite

You can now purchase Live Suite with a 60% discount for a limited time. This offer ends on 31 October 2023.

Free trial extension

Ableton are also extending their Ableton Live trial extension scheme. This allows you to extend a free trial of Ableton Live, for use on your own computer until 30 August 2024.

All students have been emailed an unique trial extension code, along with the activation instruction, to your Spirit Studios email address.

Each code is personal and can only be used once. You will also need a Ableton Live account in order to use the code. You can create a free Ableton Live account at https://www.ableton.com/ 

The code must be registered by 31 October 2023.

Soundsnap

Finally as a Spirit Studios student you are eligible for a free Soundsnap account.

Soundsnap is an online sound effects library with over 450,000 available sounds. For one year, you’ll be able to download an unlimited number of sound effects and stock music.
